Frischly Trained is a website that is designed to allow the individual/group to explore possible topics to be educated, trained and certified.
My name is Aaron Frisch, and I am a captain with the Toledo Fire and Rescue Department. After working nearly 10 years in the field of physical therapy, I began my career in the fire service in 2001, becoming a paramedic in 2003. I have spent nearly my entire career in the inner city of Toledo, Ohio at Firehouse #5, working on ALS unit Life Squad #1 as well as Engine and Truck #5.
Firehouse #5 also houses Toledo Fire's Water Rescue Unit and Rescue Dive Team. I began dive training in 2006 and became a member of the dive team. After several years I continued training to become a PADI certified Divemaster in 2017 and a PADI certified instructor the following year. I am currently a Public Safety Dive instructor and Master Scuba Diver Trainer, continuing my training to obtain the Master Instructor status.
I became certified to instruct in CPR and First Aid in 2005, assisting in the training of Toledo Fire personnel as well as teaching and certifying in the community. I have been able to utilize the skills as a firefighter/paramedic to gain first hand knowledge and experience to pass on to students.
My goal is to enable an individual to gain as much knowledge and skills as possible for that person to be excited, competent, efficient and capable! Please feel free to browse, and contact me with any questions or interests! I look forward to hearing from you and working with you!
